Over 5,800 flights served by 32 airlines were operated above Sofia in June, connecting Bulgaria with 93 different destinations in 33 countries, said Vasil Levski Airport in Sofia.

London, Vienna, Frankfurt, Istanbul and Milan once again stood out as the most desirable cities, according to airport data.

At the end of June, SOF Connect, the operator of Vasil Levski Sofia Airport, announced the launch of a tender procedure for the design and construction of a new Terminal 3, a forecourt area, a transport hub, and the modernization of the Airport’s Terminal 2.
