Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov called Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) "the biggest conduit of foreign influence" in a declaration read from the National Assembly rostrum on Thursday.

Kostadinov said: "Bulgaria is not behaving like the oldest European state, but rather like a territory governed from the outside, whose so-called MPs are acting on foreign directives and demands. (...) CC-DB is the biggest conduit of foreign influence in this country, along with their masters from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning." He argued that the two parliamentary groups walked out together while Vazrazhdane was reading a declaration on Wednesday, and that they tend to vote together. "Their arrogance has reached unprecedented heights, to the point of calling national betrayal advocacy for national interests," Vazrazhdane's leader said.

National Assembly Chair Nataliya Kiselova reprimanded Kostadinov for using offensive language about MPs.

Earlier in the day, CC-DB proposed that Tsoncho Ganev MP of Vazrazhdane be dismissed as Parliament Deputy Chair on the grounds that he physically assaulted Yavor Bozhankov during Wednesday's plenary sitting. Also then, MPs of Vazrazhdane blocked access to the rostrum.
