Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev took part in an event organized by PanEuropa Bulgaria and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark and the Diplomatic Institute to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, at which the main priorities of the Danish Presidency for the next six months were presented, united under the motto "Strong Europe in a Changing World", said the press centre of the line ministry on Thursday-

During the discussion, Minister Georgiev focused on the various dimensions and tools of the EU for achieving a stronger Europe in the changing geopolitical conditions. "In the common uncertainty, we should find the way together, united in one goal - peace. Peace will no longer be a given, but we will have to fight for it," Minister Georgiev stressed in his speech. He also spoke about the importance of innovation and technology in ensuring a competitive advantage in the fields of defence, science, education, energy, tourism, agriculture, etc. In the context of the ongoing discussions in the EU on the simplification of regulations, the Bulgarian Foreign Minister expressed support for efforts to reduce the administrative burden for citizens and businesses, creating opportunities for greater investment.

Deputy Foreign Minister Nikolay Pavlov also participated in the forum, and in his speech he also stressed support for Ukraine, EU enlargement based on the principle of own merits, energy security, cohesion policy and the need for economic and social cohesion.
