Bulgaria's outgoing Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov will attend the EU-Western Balkans Summit 2025 on December 17 in Brussels, the Cabinet's press centre said here on Tuesday. The meeting will precede the regular meeting of the heads of state and government of the European Union in the Belgian capital.
Deepening the strategic relations between the EU and the Western Balkans, and the benefits these bring to citizens, will be the main topics of discussion. The talks will highlight the importance of political and economic ties between the EU and its Western Balkan partners, particularly in the current geopolitical context and in view of the need to strengthen regional relations.
