The Contact Group for Combating Anti-Semitism held a working meeting at the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry said in a press release on Wednesday. The meeting was convened by the National Coordinator for Combating Anti-Semitism and Deputy Foreign Minister Elena Shekerletova.

Taking part were representatives of ministries and central-government departments involved in countering anti-Semitism and organizations of Bulgarian Jews. They reviewed the implementation of the activities included in the National Action Plan to Combat Anti-Semitism (2023-2027) and the forthcoming international events in this area in which Bulgaria is to participate.

"All participants in the meeting confirmed the significance of the historic traditions of unity, respect, empathy and harmonious coexistence in Bulgarian society," the press release says.
