President Rumen Radev met on Tuesday with students from the Students’ Diplomatic Club at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, the Presidency press service reported. Radev and the students discussed the challenges facing the international agenda, the dynamics of geopolitical processes and Europe's place in them.
The forum placed emphasis on global security against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine and the Middle East region. The students also raised questions about the rights of Bulgarians in the Republic of North Macedonia, and North Macedonia's European prospects, as well as questions about increasing the EU's competitiveness.
Radev praised the students for their commitment to diplomacy and highlighted its role in building a positive image of Bulgaria abroad.
