Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov will lead the traditional Bulgarian pilgrimage delegation to Mount Athos for the patron feast of the St George the Zograf Monastery, the government information service said on Friday. The delegation includes representatives of the executive, legislative and local authorities, as well as the civil sector and businesses.

During the visit to Mount Athos on May 5-6, the members of the Bulgarian delegation will hold a meeting with the spiritual leaders of Mount Athos, attend the evening and night prayer services, a holy liturgy, as well as join a procession with the icon of St. George the Zograf, the release said.
