Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan Peevski met with Hayredin Mayor Todor Aleksiev, who expressed willingness to join the "New Beginning for the Development of Regions" strategy, the party press centre said on Tuesday.

At the meeting, the Mayor informed Peevski about the situation after the flood, which affected the settlements in the municipality of Hayredin. The disaster has destroyed the internal infrastructure, more than 200 homes and agricultural areas have been affected.

Peevski is committed to addressing the critical situation in the municipality so that the effects of the flooding can be addressed as quickly as possible and people can be supported to rebuild their homes and farms.
