The fire in the Slavyanka mountain range on the Bulgarian-Greek border remains active, the Blagoevgrad Regional Administration said on Monday. The nearby village of Goleshevo is not currently at risk. As a preventive measure, a 50-tonne bulldozer is being used to clear an additional clearing near the village.
