At its meeting on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers approved a decision amending and supplementing the National Programme for the Prevention, Surveillance, Control and Eradication of Animal Diseases, including zoonoses for the 2022 – 2024 period. Maintaining а good health status of animals and quality of animal products is a guarantee for the well-being of humans, the free movement of animals and animal products across EU member states, as well as for smooth exports to third countries, the Government Information Service said.
