site.btaBulgaria Has Clear Action Plan for Situations Like the One in Turkiye - Interior Minister


The ground teams sent to help in the regions affected by the earthquake in Turkiye, are already in the area and are expected to start working, Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev said during a working visit to Vratsa on Tuesday. He assured that Bulgaria has a clear action plan for such situations. "Those plans have been sent out to the regional and municipal authorities, I think that we are prepared," he said further.
Regarding the Bulgarian citizens who were denied entry to the Republic of North Macedonia on February 4, Demerdzhiev said that currently the information which the President of North Macedonia asked for is being collected. According to Demerdzhiev, this concerns around 200 people.
"I warned the Minister of Interior of the Republic of North Macedonia that such behavior is a provocation, and that each provocation multiplies itself," the Minister said.
