Continue the Change leader Assen Vassilev declined to answer questions about whether the coalition Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) could break apart, saying he would comment only after the meeting of the parliamentary group and the expected leaders' meeting of the coalition parties.
"The most important news today is that the budget balance is zero, so there are no problems or concerns for Bulgarian citizens or for Bulgaria's budget. I will answer all other questions after the meeting," Vassilev told journalists before the start of the meeting.
On April 27, the National Council of Yes, Bulgaria adopted a decision tasking the party with proposing to Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria and Continue the Change a draft coalition agreement, which still does not exist.
Another key point of the decision is the preparation of a roadmap for the creation of a unified democratic centre-right political entity among the parties in the coalition and other participants outside it.
Before the meeting, the co-chairs of Yes, Bulgaria, Ivaylo Mirchev and Bozhidar Bozhanov, also outlined their expectations and once again called for unity within CC-DB.
