Hungarian president Katalin Novak was welcomed with a formal ceremony in Sofia’s St Alexander Nevsky Square on Thursday. Novak is paying a visit here on the invitation of Bulgarian president Rumen Radev.
The Hungarian President paid homage at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.
Later on Thursday, Radev and Novak will have a one-on-one meeting followed by a plenary session between the two official delegations from Bulgaria and Hungary.
Within the framework of the visit the sides will discuss prospects for advancement of bilateral cooperation in economy, energy, investments, culture and topics on the European and regional agenda.
During her visit Novak is scheduled to confer with caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev.
