BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Kiril Vaklinov is the top-of-the-list candidate of Direct Democracy for Blagoevgrad's 1st multi-member constituency, according to a decision of the Constituency Election Commission.

Vaklinov is a municipal councillor in Blagoevgrad. According to the biography published on the Municipality's website, he graduated in Law from South-West University Neofit Rilski. He has been engaged in private business for 23 years. He is currently chair of the committee on complaints and control over the implementation of municipal council decisions, public order, security, anti-corruption and conflict of interest, and a member of the healthcare committee. He is married and has two children.
