The caretaker Government Wednesday approved financing for the Ministry of Defence in the amount of EUR 3,033,454 to carry out payments in 2026 under the terms of International Agreement BU-P-AAL, "Acquisition of a Mobile Missile (NSM) Coastal Defence System (CDS) and Related Equipment, Spare Parts, Training and Associated Support," and International Agreement BU-P-LBR, "Multifunctional Information Distribution System – Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS JTRS) and Related Support and Equipment".

Protection of maritime sovereignty can be ensured most effectively through the use of anti-ship cruise missiles, whose range of action allows rapid response to threats at considerable distances and with high precision.
