The National Meteorological Administration of Romania has issued warnings for hazardous weather conditions across various regions of the country for the period of May 28-29, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry reported on its website Wednesday. The alerts include orange and yellow code alerts due to expected heavy rainfall.

Bulgarian citizens in Romania requiring assistance can contact the Bulgarian diplomatic mission in Bucharest at the phone numbers +40 21 230 21 50 and +40 21 230 21 59. Reports can also be sent via email to the embassy at Embassy.Bucharest@mfa.bg. Emergency alert signals and requests for help during crisis situations for Bulgarian citizens are accepted around the clock by the Situation Centre Directorate at the phone lines +359 2 948 24 04, +359 2 971 38 56, and +359 893 339 616, or via email at crisis@mfa.bg.
Bulgarian citizens traveling, temporarily residing, or living abroad are encouraged to register in the "I am traveling to" section, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
