Major repairs are underway on the Bulgarian section of the Danube River near Ruse, on the border with Romania, prompting a temporary traffic reorganization, the Border Police said on their website. Traffic in the area is limited to one lane and is being regulated by employees of the contractor. Traffic at other border crossings with Romania remains normal.

At the Stanke Lisichkovo border crossing with the Republic of North Macedonia, a full reconstruction of the border checkpoint is underway, and crossings are currently being carried out via a limited number of lanes.

Traffic remains normal at all border crossings with Türkiye and Serbia.

On the border with Greece, construction is taking place on the Greek side of the Rudozem–Xanthi route. Greek authorities have placed signs indicating that the area is a construction site, restricting access to outsiders. Only passenger cars and minibuses weighing up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings at Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad.
