In his report, Lt Gen Stoykov focused on the main risks and threats to the Black Sea region. He put an emphasis on the activities that Bulgaria, both independently and together with its allies, is conducting in response to strengthening security in a regional and global context.

During the conference, the Deputy Chief of Defence held brief working meetings with his counterparts from NATO and EU Member States and partner countries.

This year's conference is jointly organised by Romania's Ministry of National Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
