Exiting truck traffic is heavy at some border crossings with Romania and Turkiye on Wednesday morning, according to the Border Police website.

At the border with Romania, traffic of exiting trucks is intense at the border crossing points Nikopol and Vidin.

Traffic is normal at all border checkpoints with Greece. The passage through Kulata/Promachonas has been hampered due to the temporary phased restriction of truck traffic in both directions introduced by the Greek authorities. Damaged sections of the truck lanes are being repaired and intermittently trucks are passing through only one lane in and one lane out. Repair works at Promachonas will continue until April 16. Only cars and vans can pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

At the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. At Kalotina construction and installation works are being carried out in connection with a reconstruction and modernization contract. The works require temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganization of the traffic flow. During the holidays, travellers with cars should bear in mind that the temporary traffic organization before and in the area of the border crossing may extend the crossing time.

Traffic is normal at all checkpoints on the border with North Macedonia.

The traffic of cargo vehicles at the exit of Kapitan Andreevo on the border with Turkiye is intense.
