In November, temperatures will vary from minus 5C to 25C, meteorologist Anastasia Kirilova of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology told BTA on Tuesday. The average temperature is expected to be around or below the norm, which is 5C to 8C in Northern Bulgaria, 3C to 5C in high plains, 8C to 10C along the Black Sea coast, and minus 5C to 3C in the mountains.
The monthly precipitation will be around or below the norm, which is 40 to 70 litres per square metre in most of the country, and between 60 and 90 l/sq m in Southern Bulgaria and the mountains.
From November 1 to 10, the weather will be mostly sunny and warmer than usual for this period of the year. Lowlands will have fog in the morning. Rain showers are expected around November 5 and 10.
From November 10 to 20, mountainous areas will have sunny weather, while valleys and lowlands will experience cloudy and foggy weather as well as lower temperatures than the rest of the country. This period of November will have mostly warm weather.
The last ten days of November will be cloudy and rainy, with temperatures close to the usual ones for this period of the year.
