Overnight, clouds will increase and thicken from the southwest, while in Northeastern Bulgaria skies will remain mostly clear.
In the morning hours, patches of fog or low clouds are expected in parts of the Danube Plain and the western parts of the Upper Thracian Valley. Across most of the country, the wind will temporarily subside, remaining light and from the southeast in the eastern regions.
On Friday, cloud cover will prevail over most of the country, with some clearer intervals before noon in Northeastern Bulgaria. In the afternoon, in Western Bulgaria it will begin to rain, snow in the mountains above 2,000. Overnight into Saturday, the precipitation will spread to the central regions. A light, in the eastern parts of the country moderate, southeasterly wind will blow. Lows: 6C - 11C, 7C in Sofia. Highs: 13C - 18C, 13C in Sofia.
Black Sea Coast: Cloud cover will gradually increase, last along the northern shore. In the morning, patches of fog or reduced visibility are possible. Wind from the southeast, mostly moderate. Highs: 16C - 19C. Sea water temperature 17C - 20C.
Mountains: Clouds will increase and thicken. In the afternoon, rain over the mountains in Western Bulgaria, turning to snow above 2,000 m. A moderate wind will blow from the south. Highs: 11C at 1,200 m, and 3C at 2,000 m.
