Sites in Korea, Tajikistan and Vietnam, proposed for inscription on the World Heritage List, were considered in the first part of Saturday’s meeting of the 47th session of the Committee, chaired by Bulgaria.

The Republic of Korea's site is located along the Bangucheon River and includes two significant rock art sites: the petroglyphs at Daegok-ri and Cheonjeon-ri.

The Ancient Khuttal site in Tajikistan is a medieval kingdom located between the Panj and Vakhsh rivers and the foothills of the Pamir Mountains.

The Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac complex of monuments and landscapes in Vietnam comprises 20 sites set among forested mountains, plains and river valleys.

France, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Russia, Italy, Mexico, Jamaica and Panama added their sites to the World Heritage List in the second part of Saturday’s 's programme of the 47th session of the Committee.

France added its Carnac stones and the Gulf of Morbihan to the List.

Neuschwanstein, Linderhof, Schachen and Herrenchiemsee in Germany, a series of four palace complexes in the Alpine region of Bavaria, built between 1864 and 1886 on the orders of King Ludwig II, were also added.

The site of Greece, the Minoan Palaces, was also accepted on the List. It consists of six archaeological sites on Crete dating between 1900 and 1100 BC.

Turkey added the tumulus tombs of Bin Tepe, the cemetery north of Sardis to the list.

Rock paintings in the Shulgan-Tash cave from Russia also made the List.

Italy's site, "Burial Traditions in Prehistoric Sardinia: Domus de Janas", was also accepted.

Mexico's Wixárika Route through Sacred Sites to Wirikuta (Tatehuarí Huajuyé) includes 20 sacred sites stretching more than 500 km across five states in northeastern Mexico.

Jamaica added the 17th century Port Royal Archaeological Complex to the list.

Panama’s site was the Colonial Transisthmian Route.

Poland's submission was returned for refinement, while Portugal's and Nepal's submissions were returned to be fully reworked.
