Another no-confidence motion has been tabled by the Vazrazhdane party, this time over the government's failure in the area of fiscal policy, the party's press centre said on Friday.

Cabinet, supported by the current ruling coalition, is deepening fiscal imbalances and is not taking the necessary urgent measures to restore the sustainability of Bulgaria's public finances, the message said. The budget of this government pursues wrong objectives, based on false statistical data, over-optimistic macroeconomic forecasts, and unrealistic expectations of tax revenue collection. And most importantly: there is no public support for the cabinet's intentions to cede a key part of Bulgaria's sovereignty by destroying the 145-year-old Bulgarian lev, by abolishing the currency board, by relegating the BNB to an affiliate of the ECB, the text says.
