site.btaDrawings and Small Plastic Art Works Featured in Sofia Exhibition

The Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA) is resuming its traditional national exhibitions of “Drawings and Small Plastic Art Works.” The upcoming installment of the show, featuring 139  artists, opens at the UBA gallery at 6 Shipka Street in Sofia on May 2.

It will showcase the pursuits of contemporary artists from various generations working in the field of drawing and small plastic forms. The idea is to stimulate people’s interest in these more intimate forms of visual expression, UBA said.

The event is on the programme of the upcoming European Museum Night, May 17.

Both UBA members and non-members are contributing to the show. The artists and the works have been selected by a jury approved by the UBA Management Board.
