Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Bulgaria's chief diplomat Georg Georgiev discussed steps towards achieving a just peace and ways to develop mutually beneficial cooperation during a phone call on Wednesday, Sybiha said on X.

Sybiha said he was grateful for the confirmation that Bulgaria remains steadfast in supporting Ukraine and its peace efforts. He said he informed Georgiev about the recent diplomatic activities aimed at bringing a just and lasting peace closer.

The two foreign ministers also discussed the bilateral agenda and ways to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.

Sybiha reiterated his invitation for Georgiev to participate in the EU foreign ministers visit to Ukraine on May 9.
