The mountains offer good hiking conditions on Wednesday, the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross said. Snowfall is expected at places with an altitude of 2,000 metres. 

No incidents involving hikers have been reported in the past 24 hours. 

According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, the weather will be sunny in the mountains. Moderate to strong northeasterly wind. Highs: around 10C at 1,200 metres and around 3C at 2,000 metres.
