site.btaNational Theatre Welcomes over 50 Guests from Europe for First Edition of NT Mini

The first edition of NT Mini - a mini format of showcase - will take place at the Ivan Vazon National Theatre from February 27 to March 2. Five nights in a row, the audience can watch a selection of five emblematic plays from the threatre's repertoire, staged in the last several years, the National Theatre said. Expected to attend are over 50 foreign guests from the European theatre community.

Among the guests are representatives of leading theatre institutions, such as Deutsches Theater in Berlin, Theatre de l'Odeon in Paris, Young Vic in London, Toneelmakerij in Amsterdam, Theatre de Liege, Dailes Theatre in Riga, Teatro Nacional Dona Maria II in Lisbon, and the national theatres of Greece, Romania, Croatia, Kosovo, and Albania.

Also to come to Bulgaria for NT Mini are curators of festivals, such as Athens Epidaurus Festival in Greece, Ingmar Bergman International Theatre Festival in Sweden, and festivals in Istanbul and Tbilisi, as well as cultural journalists and critics from specialized international platforms for stage art, such as The Stage, The Theatre Times, SEE Stages, and Critical Stages.
