The new school year has started at the Bulgarian Sunday School of the Scientific Society of Bulgarians in Moldova. On Sunday, the first bell rang for the tenth time at the Hristo Botev Library in Chisinau, where the school is located, the educational institution said.
The school's headmistress told BTA that the teaching staff, parents and pupils have felt how reliably Bulgaria supports the aspirations of Bessarabian Bulgarians to learn their native language and culture from a video greeting by Bulgarian Ambassador in Chisinau Maya Dobreva. The President of the Scientific Society of Bulgarians congratulated the entire community and promised the Society's maximum support to the school in the future.
As part of the school year start celebration, pupils told the ten-year-long story of the school in photos.
