Bulgaria won the senior group all-around event and earned two senior individual all-around medals at Grand Prix Marbella 2023, a rhythmic gymnastics competition in Spain (March 10-12).

In their official debut for the season, the ensemble of Zhenina Trashlieva, Sofia Ivanova, Kamelia Petrova, Rachel Stoyanov and Radina Tomova grabbed the group title after performing their new routines and showing their new costumes.

The ensemble, coached by Vesela Dimitrova and Mihaela Maevska, won 70.400 points. For their routine with five hoops, the Bulgarians earned 36.350 points (20.500 for difficulty, 7.750 for artistry and 8.100 for execution). At three ribbons and two balls, they committed some inaccuracies and got 34.050 points (18.200 for difficulty, 7.850 for artistry and 8.000 for execution).

Ukraine placed second in the group all-around event on 64.350 points, and Portugal came in third on 50.650 points.

The Bulgarian ensemble qualified for the two apparatus finals which will take place on Sunday.

In the individual all-around, Stiliana Nikolova won the silver medal on 133.350 points, and her fellow Bulgarian Eva Brezalieva earned the bronze on 130.850 points. The title went to Italy's Sofia Raffaeli, who scored 134.650 points.
