Embassy in Ankara: No More Bulgarian Victims Reported from Quake-Hit Regions

The Bulgarian Embassy in Ankara has had no new reports on any Bulgarian citizens killed or injured in the earthquakes, Deputy Foreign Minister Kostadin Kodzhabashev told a news conference on Tuesday. Some 130 Bulgarians are involved in the ongoing rescue operations in the quake-hit regions in Turkiye.

One Bulgarian quake victim was found in Iskenderun.

The death toll from the February 6 quakes in Turkiye and Syria has passed 35,000.
