site.btaInterior Ministry Sends Second Team of Rescuers to Turkiye


The Interior Ministry's Directorate General of Fire Safety and Population Protection has sent a second, 20-strong rescue team to assist their Turkish counterparts in dealing with the aftermath of the earthquakes, the Ministry said Wednesday. They will join the Bulgarian module working in Adiyaman Province.
A Spartan aircraft of the Bulgarian Air Force flew the second team, made up of firefighters and rescuers from the towns of Blagoevgrad, Kyustendil and Pernik.
At present, there are 78 people and 18 units of specialized and rescue equipment from the Directorate General in Turkiye.
