A police chase caused an SUV carrying 18 migrants to veer off the road near the southern town of Elhovo on Wednesday evening. Four foreign nationals were taken to hospital for a checkup, the Border Police said.
The driver, who is a Georgian national, initially fled the scene, but was detained later.
