site.btaWizz Air to Operate 70 Routes from Bulgaria This Summer
Wizz Air will offer a total of 70 routes from four Bulgarian airports in the summer of 2026, the airline's press office announced. During the season, the carrier will operate flights from Bulgaria to 19 countries, connecting Sofia, Varna, Burgas, and Plovdiv with various popular destinations in Europe and the Middle East, including Paris, Madrid, Prague, Corfu, Palma de Mallorca, Rhodes, and Sharm el-Sheikh.
Among these routes are 38 from Sofia, including to Barcelona, Rome, Paris, Madrid, Nice, Palermo, and Palma de Mallorca; 23 routes from Varna to Berlin, Athens, Barcelona, Paris, and Larnaca; 7 routes from Burgas to London, Budapest, Warsaw, Katowice, and Gdansk, and 2 routes from Plovdiv to London and Bratislava.
Highlights of the summer schedule include vacation routes to Spain, Italy, and Greece, as well as direct flights to Egypt and Israel. The company will also continue to offer connections to business and tourist hubs such as Brussels, London, Warsaw, and Milan.
