site.btaPhoto Exhibition at Sofia Airport Showcases WWF Conservation Work in Bulgaria
Photographs and stories about wildlife conservation and nature restoration in Bulgaria are on display from Tuesday at Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport. Titled "Nature Needs Us", the exhibition presents the work of WWF in Bulgaria over the past 20 years, from protecting wild animals and restoring species to safeguarding forests and rivers.
At the exhibition opening, WWF Bulgaria CEO Vesselina Kavrakova said that nature provides benefits on which people depend. "We depend on nature for all aspects of our lives, but it also depends on us, because we influence and harm it," she added.
Jesus Caballero, the CEO of SOF Connect, Sofia Airport’s operator, said that he is particularly pleased to host the exhibition, which depicts the beautiful nature of Bulgaria. He expressed hope that cooperation with WWF Bulgaria will continue in the future.
