site.btaFuel Prices in Bulgaria Up 2% to 6% over Past Week
Fuel prices in Bulgaria has increased by between 2% and 6% over the past week and by between 12% and 25% on a monthly basis, according to data from the specialized platform Fuelo.
The most widely used gasoline A95 rose by EUR 0.07 per litre, or 5.11%, over the past week. It was priced at EUR 1.37 per litre on March 16, increased to EUR 1.43 during March 20–22, and reached EUR 1.44 per litre as of March 23. On a monthly basis, the increase amounts to EUR 0.20 per litre, or 16.13%.
Premium gasoline A98 has also followed an upward trend. Over the week, its price rose by EUR 0.06 per litre, or 3.80% - from EUR 1.58 on March 16 to EUR 1.64 on March 23. On a monthly basis, the increase is EUR 0.17 per litre, or 11.56%.
The most significant rise has been recorded in diesel fuel prices. Over the past week, the price increased by EUR 0.09 per litre, or 6% - from EUR 1.50 on March 16 to EUR 1.59 on March 23. On a monthly basis, diesel has risen by EUR 0.33 per litre, or 25.20 per cent.
Methane prices saw no change, staying at EUR 1.14 per kilogram. A slight monthly increase of EUR 0.01 per kilogram, or 0.88%, has been reported.
