Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnasts Win Gold, Bronze, Team Title at Sofia Cup on Saturday

Anastasia Kaleva claimed the gold medal and Yanitsa Dineva the bronze in the women’s all-around competition at the Sofia Cup international rhythmic gymnastics tournament on Saturday. Earlier in the day, the Bulgaria 2 team won the gold.

On the team were Siyana Alekova and Aleksandra Petrova, who finished with a total score of 104.200.

Kaleva took the gold in the all-around with a score of 107.250 (28.100 on the hoop, 25.800 on the ball, 26.400 on the clubs, 26.950 on the ribbon). The silver medal went to Andreea Verdes (Romania) with 103.600. Yanitsa Dineva rounded out the podium with 103.050 (22.300, 26.050, 27.100, 27.600), delivering a strong performance on her return to the mat after a serious injury.
