Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has rejected accusations that employees of state-owned companies in Belgrade are under pressure to attend a rally on March 21 organized by the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), the TANJUG news agency reported on Wednesday.

"You have reached the most pointless story I have heard in 30 years, how are you going to force someone in Serbia to go to a rally?! No one is obliged to come to rallies and meetings," he added in response to a question from regional television N1.

"Here I call on all people who do not want not to come to the rally," said Vucic.
