“We share common ground with any party that defends traditional relations between men and women, love for children, the fight against illegal migration, and the principle that the state should spend only what it earns and avoid sinking into debt,” There Is Such a People (TISP) Floor Leader Toshko Yordanov told BTA here on Sunday while registering the party’s candidate list for the Plovdiv-Region constituency, where he is a top-of-the-list MP candidate.
Yordanov emphasized that TISP is a conservative party and relies on moral individuals for the elections. Regarding the participation of former President Rumen Radev (2017–2026) in the elections, he said it is unclear what role Radev will play, as no one knows what goals he will try to achieve.
When asked about opinion polls suggesting that his party may fail to enter the next parliament, Yordanov responded that these are just yet another series of predictions where TISP supposedly fails to pass the four-percent threshold, yet ends up entering the National Assembly. “Then those who wrote the nonsense just look silly because they are propagandists, not sociologists,” he added.
