A formal ceremony for the presentation of the Woman of the Year 2026 award was held in Taraclia, Moldova, on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8 on Sunday. Forty-five women from different towns in the region were honored for their professional achievements and active contribution to the development of the community.

The event brought together around 120 representatives of institutions and public organizations at a local restaurant, who expressed their appreciation for the work, talent, and dedication of the nominated women. The festive atmosphere was complemented by artistic performances by dancers, singers, and musicians from Taraclia and Tvarditsa.

On behalf of the Taraclia District Council, Deputy Chairperson Sergei Filipov congratulated the women on the occasion of March 8 and presented the 45 honorees with commemorative statuettes and diplomas.

The honorees were awarded in 15 different categories, including "Manager of the Year," "Public Figure," "Ambassador of Good Deeds," "Miss Charity," "Guardian of Legislative Traditions," "Restaurateur of the Year," "Ambassador of Bulgarian Culture," "Employee of the Year," "Inspirer of Champions," "Miss Creative," "Guardian of Singing Traditions," "Guardian of Time," "Golden Fund of Pedagogy," "Soul of Folk Song," and "Inspiration and Rhythm."
