site.btaPresident Iotova to Present Sirak Skitnik Grand Prize for Journalism

President Iliana Iotova will present the grand prize of the Sirak Skitnik journalism awards, the President's press service said on Monday. The ceremony for the awards of Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) will also mark the 91st anniversary of the public broadcaster's founding.

Established in 2001, the award is presented for contributions to the development of BNR as a public service medium, the statement said. The prize is named after the artistic pseudonym of Bulgarian writer and artist Panayot Hristov, Sirak Skitnik, and is determined by BNR’s Public Council.
