All indices at the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) went up within the first trading session for 2026, which was also the first session with the euro as the currency of trade and settlement. The oldest index at the Bulgarian exchange, SOFIX, grew by 3.34% to 1195.10 points, continuing its good performance from 2025, which ended at a 17-year high.
The BGBX40 and BGRET indices increased by 1.55% and 0.86% to 206.97 points and 232.90 points, respectively. BGTR30 registered an increase of 1.36% and reached 1008.46 points, while beamX went up by 13.7% to 125.72 points.
The turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange Monday reached EUR 750,739, while transactions worth EUR 5,334 were concluded on the alternative market. The Beem market reported a turnover of EUR 7,640, and the turnover of the MTF BSE International segment amounted to EUR 169,448.
The most traded position on Monday was that of Sirma Group Holding AD. Within 47 transactions, 33,023 lots were transferred, generating a turnover of EUR 31,101. The company's shares rose by 1.94% to EUR 0.98 per share.
The shares of Shelly Group ED rose by 7.72% to EUR 61.4 per share, following 41 transactions for 3,268 lots, recording a turnover of nearly EUR 200,000.
Shares in Bulgarian Stock Exchange AD rose by 9.45% to EUR 6.1 per share. Investors traded 30,376 lots in 37 transactions, generating a turnover of nearly EUR 180,000.
The shares of Sopharma AD and Doverie United Holding AD rose by 0.25% and 4.83% to EUR 1.43 per share and EUR 6.7 per lot, respectively. Shares in First Investment Bank AD added 5.21% to EUR 3.12 per share, while those in Sofia Commerce Pawnshops AD fell by 5.30% to EUR 2.76 per lot.
