site.btaRESCALE Project Opens to SMEs in Northwestern, Southwestern Bulgaria
The Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency has opened applications for the Rescaling the Regions (RESCALE) project, which aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises in Northwestern and Southwestern Bulgaria, the agency said on Monday.
The programme offers a six-stage development process combining practical training, expert support and networking opportunities to help businesses improve competitiveness, adopt innovation and expand into international markets. The project focuses on internationalisation, digitalisation, the green economy and tourism.
Eligible applicants are SMEs registered or operating in the regions of Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Sofia Region (excluding the city of Sofia), Pernik and Kyustendil.
RESCALE is funded under the INTERREG VI-A IPA Bulgaria–Serbia Programme and is implemented by the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the Science and Technology Park Niš.
