Some 800 Birds of Globally Threatened Red-breasted Goose Registered in Bulgaria in Mid-February
In mid-February, ornithologists counted around 600 Red-breasted geese in the area of the Durankulak Lake, 150 in the Burgas wetlands, and 73 in the Belene area, the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB) reported.
