site.btaBulgarian Culture to Be Showcased at Prague 12 Borough Day

Bulgarian traditions, cuisine and folklore will be showcased on September 13 (Saturday) in Prague, Czechia, in celebration of Prague 12 Borough Day, representatives of the the Association of the Bulgarian Orthodox Community in Czechia told BTA’s Anzhela Georgieva on Tuesday.

“Visitors to this year’s festivities marking Prague 12 Borough Day will be able to experience Bulgaria with all their senses,” the board of the Association of the Bulgarian Orthodox Community in Czechia noted.

The celebration programme includes folk performances, exhibitions, children’s workshops and Bulgarian culinary stalls.

As BTA previously reported, the Association of the Bulgarian Orthodox Community in Czechia was founded in 2001 on the initiative of Orthodox Bulgarians living in Czechia. The association’s mission is to unite the Bulgarian diaspora by organizing various creative, cultural and social initiatives.
