site.btaMoldova, Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria Discuss Innovations in Education and Sustainable Development in Taraclia

Participants from four countries gathered in Taraclia to share experiences and good practices during an international seminar on working with children and young people in the context of the New European Bauhaus initiative. The event took place in the framework of the Clean Territories, Green and Open Streets project and is part of the Interreg VI-B NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, according to the Economic and Investment Development Department of the Taraclia District Council.
More than 65 representatives of civil society, educational institutions and NGOs from Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine participated in the two-day forum. They discussed good practices and presented their own ideas for introducing sustainable solutions in the fields of culture, ecology and education.
Expert Elena Margineanu gave interactive lectures and practical sessions, encouraging participants to develop mini-projects of real value to their communities. The working sessions were conducted in several languages, which ensured the full inclusion of all participants, regardless of their nationality.
Participants visited the Prutul de Jos nature reserve in Slobozia Mare, a successful example of an EU-funded environmental initiative.
During the forum, a partnership agreement was also signed between the Ivan Vazov Theoretical Lyceum in Taraclia and the Nikola Ionkov Vaptsarov School in General Toshevo.
The seminar left behind inspiration, new professional contacts and a commitment to real action in local communities, the Council said.
