Emar Spa Hotel in Sapareva Banya has established itself as one of the region’s most popular vacation destinations with its blend of modern elegance, comfort, and authentic Bulgarian hospitality, attracting guests with its mineral water, tranquility, and personalized service, Vesela Vaseva of the hotel’s reservations department told BTA.
She added that guests highly appreciate the tranquility, the quality of service, and the overall spa experience.
Located at the foot of the Rila Mountain and just an hour away from Sofia, the hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere, an outdoor mineral pool, and a variety of wellness facilities designed to promote complete relaxation and rejuvenation.
The spa area at Emar Hotel features an outdoor year-round mineral pool, professional massages, and wellness therapies designed to relax the body and restore balance. The salt room helps improve respiratory health and reduce stress, while the combination of mineral water and specialized treatments provides a fully restorative experience. The pool and the salt room are among the most popular amenities.
The hotel is constantly updating its services, as the latest addition is a jacuzzi with a panoramic view, which enhances the sense of relaxation and connection with nature, Vaseva added.
The complex features 13 standard double rooms, three deluxe rooms, one studio, and two suites. The accommodations are suitable for both couples and families. The restaurant offers a capacity of 45 seats, the garden of 20 seats, with breakfast and dinner buffet included in the stay.
Opportunities for various activities are also available to guests - hiking, biking, and adventures with a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV), as well as easy access to popular attractions such as the Seven Rila Lakes, the Rila Monastery, and the Sapareva Banya geyser.

The initiative, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, is linked to Europe's leading health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, which will be held from May 11 to 13, 2026, in Varna, Sts.
