Joachin-Palacios is now an apprentice in the newly launched D.C. Cybersecurity Tech Hub. The Accenture-sponsored initiative offers D.C. residents a paid, hands-on apprenticeship pathway into cybersecurity, combining industry training with real-world experience in one of the fastest-growing sectors. Participants, including Joachin-Palacios, are earning $60,000 a year with benefits and will be poised to enter the workforce with six-figure starting salaries.
