4,389 New Cases,
Test Positivity Rate at 16.2%
Sofia, January 15 (BTA) - A total of 4,389 COVID-19 cases were identified by 27,171 tests on Saturday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 16.2%. Seventy-six per cent of new cases were unvaccinated.
Fourty fatalities were reported, of whom 95 per cent were not vaccinated. The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients stoodat 5,237, of whom 568 were intensive care. There were 202 new hospitalizations (83.17 per cent unvaccinated) and 934 recoveries.
A total of 6,982 vaccine doses were administered on Saturday. MY
