site.btaPM Says Bulgaria Welcomes the Ceasefire Agreement on Gaza

Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov said Friday that the Bulgarian Government welcomes the ceasefire agreement regarding the Gaza Strip and hopes that all hostages will be released, "because that was the trigger that detonated this war." He was speaking to journalists near the village of Konush (Southern Bulgaria), where he took part in the inauguration of the reconstructed main canal M-1, part of the Trakiets irrigation network.
"Bulgaria has always adhered to the view that lasting peace in the Middle East can be achieved based on the principle of 'one territory – two states'. In this respect, our policy has been consistent for decades," the Prime Minister said.
He noted that he had already commented on the global news via the social network X.
