The Foreign Ministry in Sofia said Friday that Bulgarians citizens who are in the territory of Iran, should leave immediately in a view of the escalation of tension. Any Bulgarians who need to stay in Iran, should follow strictly the security instructions of the local authorities, stay informed about the situation and avoid military sites and places where many people gather.

The Foreign Ministry also instructs Bulgarians to inform the Bulgarian Embassy of their location and the planned stay in Iran.
